No Update for Students?

questionmarkWhat is going on??

Why hasn't the Brock webpage been changed all weekend?

Why haven't students been informed of the postponement of mediation and hence postponement of the strike?

I am sure this is an unfortunate oversight that has not been corrected because it happened just before the weekend.

However, I do hope that the students I contacted, and those who read this blog have spread the word to as many as they can.

If it eases your mind any, I first read about the postponement from the Brock livejournal community....so I'm sure quite a few people have seen it on there.

Hello Prof. Barry Joe,

I found out about the postponement on Friday night around 10 or so. I immediately went on Facebook and sent messages to all of my groups on there telling them to spread the word. I have noticed a change in MSN names to display the new information. I agree that something should have been posted prior, but at least we have means of getting information out there! Thank you for your blogs, I always enjoy reading them.

Yes, it is troubling that the majority of the useful information I have gathered about the strike has been over a table in the Merchant Ale House. And it is equally as troubling that the information provided on the Brock website reads like the visitors guide to African Lion Safari...

"Roll down your window or otherwise indicate your willingness to communicate"..."Display patience and remain calm"

I was informed on Saturday evening by a friend who doesn't go to Brock... what does that say about how in the loop I am... oh well, at least I know now...
